As more states legalize recreational marijuana and medicinal marijuana use, the laws are changing. Proposition 205 was on Arizona's general election ballot. The measure was rejected, and medicinal marijuana remains legal in the state.
At the 2nd annual Southwest Cannabis Conference and Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center, supporters of the initiative hoped the law to pass on November 8th. Nadeem Al Hassan, the founder and owner of Baked Bros, a Phoenix marijuana dispensary explained the measure and hopes for similar advantages Colorado has gained since recreational marijuana use was legalized. Many states considered passing marijuana-related laws, and the result of Colorado and Washington passing recreational marijuana use has been an example for supporters and non-supporters of marijuana initiatives. |
